Owned by Sorcha, she was born with coffee already in her blood as her family own a Café in Carrick. After travelling abroad, when she made her way to Australia, she became a professional barista there. She came back wanting to bring her knowledge to Ireland and open a coffee shop. Covid was the push for her to get started on this as she created the trailer known as The Lazy Cow and it was the start of a journey which allowed her to become closer to the Carrick community.
As time went on, The Lazy Cow got more and more popular, allowing her to take on people to work for her. As The Lazy Cow became more popular and covid ending they looked to expand their business out of the Trailer and into a building. With the help of Brophy Cusack, Sorcha was able to find the perfect location to set up. They closed the trailer doors for the last time in August and, with a vision in mind and a lot of elbow grease, The Lazy Cow Coffee House would be ready to have a grand opening in September.

So, what is on the menu at the Lazy Cow? With espressos, cortados, and cappuccinos just to name a few, with the option of iced lattes, teas, and sweet coffee drinks. There is more than a wide variety for people to choose from, even if you have dietary requirements.

Now the Lazy Cow are well on their way to being the hot spot for people to stop at to grab a coffee in Carrick, and the one aspect that has never changed is how much the Sorcha and her team love to talk to their customers and have a chat, they never want them to be rushed out the door. So, why should you go to Lazy Cow? The answer is that there are a lot of reasons why. With such a welcoming atmosphere and the place has adapted The Lazy Cows personality into their location.
